Steal My Perfect 3 Day Paros Greece Itinerary
Day 1. Road Trip and Beach Hopping
On our first day in Paros, we got up early to grab the rental car that we booked with Green Motion, cars, a favorite of mine that I’ve used a few times in different parts of Greece, and then hit the road! Trying to beat the heat, we started exploring the towns of Lekfes, Prodromos, and Maripissa early. Maripissa was the winner of the 3, but they were all honestly amazing in terms of traditional Cycladic charm with whitewashed walls and beautiful bougainvillea everywhere.
Lefkes was by far the hottest at around 9 a.m. but was beyond charming. The local culture stood out surrounded by white walls with blue doors and shutters, like stepping into a picture. There is a beautiful church,
Paros Church of Agia Triada, and its cemetery is totally worth checking out, too.
Prodromos was our second stop, and we probably spent the least amount of time there, but not because it wasn’t excellent. It’s tiny yet totally worth checking out. It was still early when we arrived, and the town hadn’t woken up yet.
Maripissa, my favorite, was the most beautiful and exciting. We enjoyed a delicious fresh juice in a courtyard surrounded by bougainvillea, thoroughly enjoying our surroundings. There was a warm and welcoming atmosphere here. There was also more to see here than in the other villages. Every turn was breathtaking and picturesque.
After our exciting morning hopping around, we continued by beach hopping to a few of the most fabulous beaches in Paros. First up is Gold Beach Shore, followed by Kolybithres Beach and Piperi Beach. My favorite was Kolybithres because of the unique moon-looking rocks that were tucked away. After dropping off the car, we stayed in Naoussa to have dinner and explore and then headed back to Parikia to get ready for Day 2!
Day 2. Boat Cruise
Paros, a true gem of the Cyclades Islands, is a paradise with its pristine beaches, charming villages, and crystal clear waters. A boat day is the perfect way to uncover more of this incredible island’s treasures, including hidden coves and secluded beaches accessible only by a boat. Our full-day boat cruise with get your guide, complete with a traditional Greek lunch and endless beverages, was a truly unforgettable experience.
After a day basking in the Mediterranean Sun, we returned to our hotel in Parikia and later hopped on the local bus to Naoussa Harbor for a dinner that was both thrilling and delectable. Imagine white napkins and dancing on chairs to the tune of traditional Greek music.
Our choice of Barbarossas for dinner was a decision we’ll always cherish. This renowned restaurant doesn’t just offer a meal, but a memory. The vibrant atmosphere in the harbor, with its sea views and fishing boats, sets the stage for a night to remember. The fresh seafood and lively crowd only add to the excitement. To fully immerse yourself in the white napkin dancing festivities, I recommend making reservations, in true Euro fashion, no earlier than 10p.
Day 3. Antiparos
Visiting Antiparos is a must while in Paros. It is a 10-minute ferry ride out on the beautiful open Aegean Sea. Perfect for a day trip or an even longer stay, the maze of narrow streets, quaint shops, and charming tavernas are ideal for an authentic Greek Island experience. Unlike its bustling neighbor, Antiparos is a haven of tranquility. Relax and unwind as you stroll down the cobblestone streets and white-washed houses with beautiful bougainvillea wrapped around.
In the evenings, enjoy a relaxed nightlife scene and a leisurely stroll. It is the perfect place to soak in the Greek Island Atmosphere away from the crowds. Antiparos also has some of the best and unspoiled beaches in the Cyclades. The ancient cave of Antiparos is absolutely worth checking out as it is one of the largest and most impressive stalactite caves traced back to Neolithic times.
